Thanks to the efforts of tireless Chinese-Canadian volunteers, BC Children’s Hospital is one of the most widely supported causes within this community. Since 1999, their fundraising initiatives have raised close to $10 million for BC Children’s Hospital.

For Children We Care Dinner Gala

This annual event, held at the Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre, raises money for a designated area of BC Children's Hospital. Learn more about this event.

Chinese-Canadian Telethon

This multimedia event, which coincides with the BC Children’s Hospital Miracle Weekend on Global TV, airs on Fairchild Television, CHMB AM1320 and Fairchild Radio AM1470. Pre-event fundraising takes place in the months before through charity sales, golf tournaments, and other activities.  Learn more about this event.

Legacy Giving

The Asian Community Planned Gift sub-committee was formed as part of BC Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Asian Community Development Committee in 2003 to support planned giving in the Chinese-Canadian community.

Through our Legacies Round Table and Legacies Conference, professional advisors, long-time supporters and friends have the opportunity to learn about tax, financial and estate planning with a charitable giving focus from experts in the fields.
